Dirk Bruyn III

President & Founder

Dirk Bruyn III founded Bruyn Homes nearly twenty years ago on a simple premise that has been the foundation of the company’s success: to partner with clients from concept to completion in designing and constructing homes of distinctive style and enduring quality.

As CEO, Dirk brings a unique blend of personality, talent and expertise that has proven to serve his particular clientèle well. First and foremost, he takes a personal interest in each client and listens to their thoughts and ideas for their new home. His respectful approach, combined with his sense of humor, immediately puts clients at ease — especially important when partnering on something as personal and important as creating a new home.

Dirk also approaches each potential new home as a custom project, always infusing his creativity and fine eye for design and detail into the overall vision for each home. Beyond the design phase, Dirk’s experience in leading construction and overseeing finishing is broad and deep. His extensive knowledge of every aspect is an invaluable benefit to each new home, regardless of size or scale.

Nancy Spence

Office Administrator

Nancy joined the Bruyn Homes team at the beginning of 2015. She has over 20 years’ experience with Office Administration. The past 15 years has been in the Design/Construction field. Nancy is responsible for Bruyn Homes Accounts Receivable & Payable. Along with Client Warranty.

She and her husband have lived in the NE Grand Rapids Area for 20+ years, where they raised their two children.
